Taking a photo of your document

The easiest way to take a photo of your document is to lay it flat on a table. Please ensure all corners and edges are contained within the photo frame.

Livesign also checks the original document is being used and not a spoofed version of it such as a photocopy or photo. Doing so will invalidate the verification of identity.

The App is required to utilise the Near Field Communication (NFC) between your phone and the chip in your Passport. This is the highest global standard for verifying ID and enables the data to be verified against the country of origin.
