Capturing and submitting your ID
Capturing your ID consists of 2 parts.
Firstly you will need to take a photo of the front of the card. We recommend you hold the ID in your hand and tilt it to minimise any glare or shadow. It is important that all the details on the ID are clearly visible including the photo if there is one.
The next step is to confirm the details extracted from the ID are 100% accurate. It is vital that any errors are corrected before submitting the form, so please check this carefully.
This information is checked against a government database to confirm the validity of the ID. Livesign also checks that the original ID is being used and not a spoofed version such as a photocopy or photo which will invalidate the verification of identity.
