Are you signing a document or verifying your ID? Learn how
So you’ve been asked to verify your identity. Your practitioner might be referring to this as a "VOI" which mean Verification of Idenitity. This is a standard requirement for many legal, property and financial transactions - it helps your practitioner confirm you are who you say you are and reduces the risk of identity theft and fraud. Livesign Verify makes the process quick to complete on your phone. In most cases, it takes just a few minutes.
To avoid delays, please have your original government-issued ID documents ready before you begin. At a minimum you'll need your passport or drivers license. Depending on the type of transaction, you might need both.
Please note that original documents are required. Rest assured, your data and privacy is safe.

When prompted, download the Livesign app on a mobile device (phone or tablet).
Follow the prompts to capture your ID, then take a selfie. Our app is simple to use. Once you've followed all the prompts, that's all you need to do. Your practitioner will review the verification report and let you know if anything else is required.
